Combating the Spread of COVID-19

How HealthTrac’s Remote Vital Signs Monitoring Solution Helps

Screening for COVID-19 with SpO2

On March 13, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) released a document called “Clinical management of severe acute respiratory infection (SARI) when COVID-19 disease is suspected”. This document emphasizes the  importance of monitoring oxygen saturation (SpO2) in COVID-19 suspects, as an indication of a respiratory-related issue.

HealthTrac’s real-time, remote vital signs monitoring app allows anyone to easily measure oxygen saturation, respiration rate, heart rate, and HRV – just by looking into a smartphone camera. These important measurements, in combination with other symptoms – such as fever, coughing or a sore-throat – are indicators of a person who is at risk for having COVID-19; HealthTrac reduces risk of exposure at the workplace or school by identifying who should remain safely at home.

How HealthTrac Can Help During COVID-19?

As the world begins to reopen, we will all have to adapt to a “new normal.” How do we return to work in a safe and effective way during this pandemic?

With HealthTrac’s technology you will be able to check your vitals on your phone. As employees return to the office, they will be able to check for symptoms that are indicative of Covid-19, such as temperature and oxygen saturation levels. These protocols help keep everyone safe while we learn how to navigate best practices during these uncertain times.

Using Vitals and Assessments to Screen for COVID-19

HealthTrac’s technology captures key vital signs indicative of a person with COVID-19 using any camera found in a smart phone or tablet. Symptoms for COVID-19 including cough, or muscle sores are captured using questionnaires sourced from the CDC and OSHA. These metrics are then used to flag potential cases of COVID-19 ensuring those who may be at risk of infection remain home.
